Prestigious Danube Award for Yung Scientists from Montenegro Belonged to Miloš Brajović, Assistant Professor

This years winner of the Danube Prize for young scientists from Montenegro is assistant professor of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Montenegro (UMNE), Dr. Miloš Brajović. He was recognized for outstanding scientific contributions, research and academic achievements.

The mentioned prize is awarded by the Austrian Ministry of Education, Science and Research and the Institute for the Danube Region of Central Europe to the best young scientists from all the countries of the Danube region, so, in addition to the success of Assoc. Dr. Brajović, the achievement was achieved by another 12 young scientists from Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine.

Area of ​​research of Brajović, Assistant Professor, includes a digital signal processing.

The Danube Award for Young Scientists dates back to 2011 with the intention of honoring people with outstanding achievements in scientific activity and results, with the aim of improving the visibility of the scientific community in the region. Miloš Brajović, Asistant Professor is one of the winners of the prize in the competition for the most successful scientist under 30 years of age, which was awarded to him by the Ministry of Science for the year 2018, and in the same year he also received the Plaque of the University of Montenegro, for his contribution to the number of published papers in renowned journals with SCI/SCE lists in the field of technical sciences. In 2020, the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts (CANU) awarded him an award for outstanding achievements in science, which is awarded to young scientists up to the age of 35. Last year, at the proposal of the Council of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, the University of Montenegro awarded him recognition for the achieved results and contributions in the development of scientific research, artistic and professional work.
