At the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Montenegro in Podgorica, an inspiring event dedicated to AWS services and cloud computing, called Cloud Weekend, was held. This event was organized by the AWS community in Montenegro and supported by the main sponsor, Coinis, as well as the logistical sponsor, SunnSea Apartments from Budva. Attendees had the privilege of hearing from four AWS Heroes, two AWS Community Builders, and Viktor Vedmich, a Senior Developer Advocate from AWS.

The central part of the event was a panel discussion on the AWS Academy program, for which the Faculty of Electrical Engineering successfully applied and whose broader implementation will soon begin. This program will enable students to gain a deep understanding of AWS technologies, providing them with the opportunity to develop skills crucial for the job market in AWS cloud computing and prepare them for final certification.

During the panel, experts shared their extensive experience and practical advice with the attendees, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and improvement in AWS services. The discussion was interactive, with lively exchanges of opinions and answers to questions from the audience.

Given the comprehensiveness of the topics and the expertise of the speakers, the event was highly informative and inspiring for all present. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the latest trends and possibilities related to AWS, as well as to establish valuable contacts with top experts in the field.

This event is just one example of the Faculty of Electrical Engineerings commitment to promoting advanced technologies and educating young talents for the future of digital transformation. Through initiatives like the AWS Academy program, the Faculty continues to generate relevant and competitive personnel who will contribute to the development of the IT industry in Montenegro and beyond.

Those interested in accessing the AWS Academy program can contact colleagues Milena Erceg, Stefan Vujović, and Slavko Kovačević, who are currently engaged with the program.
