TEDxPodgorica 2026 Brings Change Driving Ideas

Podgorica will once again host an event that brings together the most inspiring individuals from the region and the world of ideas – in true TEDxPodgorica style. TEDxPodgorica 2026 will take place on March 28 at the Music Centre of Montenegro, gathering the boldest thinkers, innovators, leaders, and changemakers from Montenegro and the region. This year’s theme, “Together We Create,” celebrates the power of unity, collaboration, and collective vision in building a better society. Through ideas that inspire and connect, we explore how shared knowledge, courage, and creativity can spark real change.

With 2026, TEDxPodgorica enters a new era – with the prestigious TEDx “A license,” the highest level of license awarded by the global TED organization. This recognition confirms the quality, credibility, and trust that TED grants only to events with proven standards of excellence. The “A license” places TEDxPodgorica among the most relevant TEDx events in the region and elevates the entire project to a completely new level of production, impact, and visibility.

TEDx is a locally organized event under the license of the global TED organization (Technology, Entertainment, Design), whose mission is to spread ideas that change the world – Ideas Worth Spreading. TEDx events around the globe bring communities together through powerful talks and authentic stories that move society forward. The event will gather around 400 participants in one of the country’s most prestigious cultural venues, the Music Centre of Montenegro, delivering a production and experience at world-class standards.

One of the nine speakers is Prof. Dr. Milena Đukanović, who will talk about her development journey in the field of 3D printing—from projects in medical protective equipment during the coronavirus pandemic, to applications in the autonomous vehicle industry, 3D printing on textiles, and 3D food printing. The focus will also include numerous educational projects in the field of cultural heritage protection, in collaboration with the Library for the Blind of Montenegro and the Institute for Education of Montenegro.

Through 3D printing, sustainable materials, and experimental design, she creates pieces of 3D-printed clothing and jewelry that blur the line between what we wear and what we feel. She will share the story of her brand Printique Me, which will present a new collection at Paris Fashion Week in early October this year at La Galerie Bourbon. At TEDxPodgorica, she will also speak about the future of fashion, where technology, art, and personal storytelling merge into one—and about a world where ideas know no boundaries.
