At the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Master Study Programs Created in Cooperation with Companies

Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Montenegro, Sasa Mujovic, PhD, said that the teaching staff of this faculty did everything to make the master studies, which are enrolled for the first time this year according to the reformed model (3 + 2), attractive and supporting the latest achievements in the field of electrical engineering.

"I would especially like to point out that master's degree programs were created in cooperation with companies, so it is realistic to expect that the business sector will respect the acquired knowledge and title through this level of studies, and thus contribute to students' motivation to enrol," Dean Mujovic said.

He expressed hope that the number of students interested in enrolling in two-year master's studies will be significant, i.e.that most students who successfully complete their undergraduate studies will decide to continue their education and training.

"There are five academic programs of new master's studies that will be implemented at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, namely: Power Systems, Automation and Industrial Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, as well as the applied study program Applied Computing. The number of vacancies offered to students is 200, for academic master's programs, 40 vacancies for each of the mentioned programs and 100 students for applied master's studies ", Dean Mujović stated.

He added that students who complete specialist studies according to the old program will be taken care of and enabling them to enrol in one-year master's studies.

"According to the old system of study, at the specialist, i.e.one-year master studies of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, two academic study programs are impelmented, namely: Energy and Automation and Electronics, Telecommunications and Computers, and one applied study program - Applied Computing. There will be vacancies for a total of 60 candidates in all these programs, 20 for each study program ", Mujović concluded.
