Today, in the building of engineering faculties of the University of Montenegro, reconstruction of the joint ceremonial hall began, investments worth about 70,000 Euros, provided by donations from the companies Ramel and Bemax and the commitment of alumni of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.

Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering UMNE Sasa Mujovic, PhD, pointed out that the ceremonial hall is one of the most important and most frequently used spatial segments of the Technical Faculty Building, which has been eroded by ravages of time and which is not able to meet modern needs and its purpose.

In addition to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, the hall is used by: the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology and the Faculty of Architecture

"Successful national companies Ramel and Bemax have shown exceptional social responsibility and through a joint donation enabled a complete renovation of the hall, whose modernity and functionality will be at the highest level after reconstruction. Therefore, we owe a huge debt to the leaders of Ramel and Bemax, Marinko Radulovic and Veselin Kovačević, on this exceptional gesture towards all technical faculties, towards the technical profession, current and future students ", states Dean Mujović.

He points out that the relationship between former students of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Srdjan Ćetković and Marko Lakušić, now employed in companies Ramel and Bemax, who expressed their positive emotion towards the Faculty through great effort and commitment to better represent the importance of this reconstruction, is worth mentioning. , to obtain the necessary funds, to make a conceptual design of the reconstructed hall and finally to be themselves, through supervision, involved in the execution of works.

The works are planned to be completed by September 15.
