New Issue of the Montenegrin Journal for Social Sciences

A new issue of the scientific journal Montenegrin Journal for Social Sciences (MJSS) has been published by the Center for Geopolitics, Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić. The first issue of the journal in 2020 (Volume 4. 2020. Issue 1.) published scientific papers from various fields of humanities, several book reviews, as well as a recently published declaration by historians from the former Yugoslavia: Let's Defend History.

 

In the latest issue of the journal MJSS, the research of prof. Vesko Garčević on the shaping and development of the "Yugoslav idea". Assistant Professor Dragutin Papović, writes about the administrative division of Montenegro after the Second World War and the organization of local self-government, and Nenad Perošević, PhD, on cultural and educational opportunities in the liberated parts of Montenegro during the Second World War. We also highlight the scientific article by professors of the Faculty of Economics in Banja Luka, Siniša Kurteš and Nikola Vidović, who deal with the impact of the Corona virus pandemic on world stock exchange indices.

 

The Montenegrin journal for Social Sciences, through four years of work, tries to contribute to the development of the research community and scientific capacities in the humanities, at the University of Montenegro. The result of the dedication and serious work of the editorial team is the fact that the journal is indexed in several important index scientific bases. The most important part of scientific papers is published in English, and the strict selection of peer-reviewed articles, respect for all modern methodological and organizational procedures with eminent members of the international editorial board, indicate that the journal will soon be on one of the most reference index bases in the humanities. The editor-in-chief of the magazine is Adnan Prekić, and the members of the editorial board are: ŽivkoAndrijašević, Dragutin Papović and Ivan Tepavčević.
