Lana Bulatović – Best Student of the University of Montenegro from the Field of Art

At the session of the Senate of the University of Montenegro, at the proposal of the Council of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Plaque of the University of Montenegro, as a reward for the completed studies with the best achievement in the field of art, will be presented at the subsequently organized commemorative ceremony and award of plaques and diplomas, has been awarded to student of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Lana Bulatovic (9.93).

We talked to her about the importance of this recognition, her commitment during her studies, her motivation, her plans for the future, and her advice to young colleagues.

"Given that only one person in the field of art has been selected for this award, it is a great honor to receive such recognition, carrying a great responsibility when it comes to my creation in the future," the student said.

Lana says that great success and hard work lay behind successes, but I would never cite any of that as a renunciation.

"I think that not every art student perceives numerous student responsibilities as something that requires a waiver, but only as a good preparation for the challenges that follow after college," Bulatovic says.

In addition to regular lectures and a quality program, Lana said at the Faculty of Fine Arts, she had the opportunity to participate as a student in various serious projects like Agricultural Design, organized by the Ministry of Culture.

"Moreover, we have a large number of guest lectures, the Fluid Design Forum, which will be held for the eighth consecutive year. In collaboration with professors, we often organize student excursions to visit important art events and exhibitions abroad, and we also have a large number of Erasmus + scholarships and participation in workshops as part of festivals in neighboring countries. "

"I think such activities initiated by our faculty are very important for forming every young artist. By networking and getting to know different approaches to art and design, we certainly change and improve our own attitudes about art," Lana says. In addition to challenging tasks, projects, workshops, certain professors were one of elementary factors of motivation. "Also, the atmosphere that prevails among students, the exchange of ideas and teamwork on certain projects are another example of good motivation."

When it comes to Lana's plans for the future, she says she plans to enroll master's degree in Interactive Design.
