Montenegrin International Medical Summit - MIMS 2019
Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montenegro organizes the first Montenegrin International Medical Summit (MIMS 2019), Congress attended to students of medicine, dentistry and pharmacy as well as young doctors of medicine, dentistry and pharmacy. The Congress will be held at the Faculty of Medicine in the period of October 3rd to October 6th.
MIMS 2019 will gather 250 students and young doctors who will have the opportunity that through interesting lectures, workshops and presentations of scientific works on different topics fulfill their knowledge from biomedical sciences, but also to meet colleagues from region and world during these four days of the duration of the Congress. The motto of this year’s MMS is Live, learn and research.
The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montenegro, which has been educating health care professionals for over twenty years, contributing to the achievement of health care and treatment of diseases, as well as the development of science in the field of health care, is the organizer of MIMS. Faculty of Medicine wants to be positioned as a meeting place of future healthcare professionals and those who already are, by organizing MIMS.
MIMS program includes plenary lectures of eminent experts from the field of medicine, dentistry and pharmacy who are professors as well as alumni of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montenegro, interesting workshops where MIMS participants will improve their practical skills as well as presentations of scientific works of attendees who are prepared in the past few months. The best student works will be awarded with appropriate awards.
Roche Campus-Knowledge is to share will be held for the first time in Montenegro, within MIMS, where MIMS participants will be able to debate with eminent experts in the field of digital transformation and innovation in healthcare.
Milovan Roganovic, PhD, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee will address the guests at the opening ceremony of MIMS, which will be held at the Institute for Public Care of Montenegro, and Danilo Nikolic, PhD, the Rector of the University of Montenegro will open the Congress.
