After passing the exam, the student will be able to: • Knows the possibilities of valorization of waste from the iron and steel industry (ferrous slag and electric furnace dust) for metallurgical and non-metallurgical purposes; • Interprets the possibilities of aluminum recycling and waste processing from the aluminum industry (red mud, gray and black slag); • Determines the characteristics of construction waste as well as the possibilities of recycling; • Classifies mining waste; • Knows the characteristics of fly ash (waste from thermal power plants) and the possibilities of its use in construction;
