Upon completion of this course students will: • Know the history of development of social psychiatry and its importance for mental health; • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the etiology and prevention of mental disorders, as well as re-socialization of treated mental patients; • As a team member, demonstrate the ability to effectively influence the change of attitude of others towards mentally disturbed person; • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of social causality of psychiatric practice, as well as the future of psychiatry.
