Upon the completion of this course, the student will show the ability to: 9. 10. 1. define children's literature and literature for young adults; 11. 2. make an informative overview of source and world literature for children and young adults with periodization and clear position of certain authors and their works; 12. 3. analyze and compare common phenomena in source and foreign literature for children and young adults; 13. 4. implement practical forms of work used in the linguistic and literary analysis of texts; 14. 5. recognize and apply the therapeutic function of children's literature during developmental stages of children and young adults; 15. 6. develop skills of a successful mediation between literary texts and recipients.
