History

Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality  was established on 20th May 1999, in the unique atmosphere of the Old Town of Kotor, a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage. The location of the Faculty, on the foundations of the old Grammar School from the 13th century, makes a rare connection of culture and tradition of education of highly qualified staff in the field of tourism and hospitality. Inheriting 40-year-old tradition of higher education in the tourism profile of Kotor and on the basis of market demand, the Faculty has been designed as a leading institution for training of staff in the tourism industry as one of the strategic commitment of Montenegro. Keeping in mind the contemporary trends in the field of tourism as the worlds largest industry, the Faculty focuses its activities on intensive cooperation with professional, educational and scientific institutions from home and abroad, with companies and other stakeholders in the field of tourism and hospitality.

At the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality is organized classes  in the academic study program Tourism and Hospitality, at all levels of study (undergraduate, postgraduate masters and PhD).
