After passing the exam, students will be able to: • Explain the concept, structure and typology of religions, as well as the relationship between religion and politics; • Learn about historical religions and their functions in society; • Analyze the relationships that are established between the religious organization (church) and the state; • Distinguish religion from religious ideology and particularly the relationship between religions and ethnicities; • Distinguish cognitive from political influence of religion in social and political life.
