Ambassador of the French Republic Visited the Faculty of Law

The Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro was visited by the Ambassador of France to Montenegro, NJ. E. Anne-Marie Maskay, together with the adviser for European integration in the Ministry of European Affairs, Mrs. Maylis de Verneuil, and the director of the French Institute, Mrs. Laurence Levaudel-Clauss.

The guests were met by the dean of the Faculty of Law, prof. Dr. Vladimir Savković, and vice-dean for international cooperation, assistant professor. Dr. Marina Jovićević. On this occasion, forms of cooperation between the Faculty of Law and the Embassy of France were discussed, and it was agreed to hold an important guest lecture for students of the Faculty of Law, which will be realized in the upcoming period.

Special attention was paid to the possibilities of intensifying cooperation, especially in the field of affirming the study of the French language, as well as greater connection of the Faculty of Law with French universities, with the aim of student and teaching staff mobility.

The participants of the meeting agreed that future cooperation has significant potential to improve the academic offer of the Faculty of Law, strengthen the international recognition of study programs and provide students with greater opportunities for improvement.
