International Coorporation

The Faculty of Law at the University of Montenegro actively develops and fosters international cooperation through numerous academic and professional activities that provide students and academic staff with access to contemporary trends in legal science and education within an international context.

Some of the key activities within our international cooperation include:

  • Bilateral cooperation with law faculties and institutions abroad, through joint projects, academic exchanges, and professional development opportunities.

  • Student exchange and mobility programs, which allow our students to complete part of their studies at partner universities abroad, while at the same time hosting international students at our Faculty. More information about mobility opportunities is available here.

  • Joint teaching initiatives, such as our successful collaboration with students from Washington and Lee University (USA), which provided students with an interactive international learning experience and networking opportunities.

  • Guest lectures by professors and experts from abroad, who contribute to the quality of teaching and broaden international perspectives in legal studies through their experience and expertise.

  • Participation in international MOOT COURT competitions, where our students develop practical skills through mock trials and legal simulations in English, proudly representing our Faculty on the global stage.

  • Promotion of international programs, with a special focus on the ERASMUS+ programme, which facilitates mobility for students and academic staff within the European academic network.

We are especially proud to highlight that the Faculty of Law at the University of Montenegro holds the prestigious Jean Monnet Chair, an EU recognition awarded for excellence in teaching in the field of European Union law. This acknowledgment affirms our commitment to advancing the quality of education and research within the framework of EU law. You can read more about this recognition here.

The Faculty of Law at the University of Montenegro continues to expand its international partnerships and encourages students to take full advantage of the academic, professional, and personal development opportunities that these programs offer.
