A Lecture on Freedom of Expression and Protection of Reputation and Rights of Others Held

Training on freedom of expression, borders and respect for the human rights of individuals, divided into two blocks of lectures, was held today at the UCG Rectorate. Lectures organized at the initiative of the Rectorate of UCG with the aim of preventing hate speech and discrimination on any basis, were realized by the Center for Human Rights of the Faculty of Law of UMNE and the Student Parliament of UMNE.

 

In the first part of the training, the lecture entitled: "Freedom of expression and protection of the reputation and rights of others" was held by the head of the Center for Human Rights of the Faculty of Law of the UMNE, Dr. Ljiljana Jovanović, while the second, ZOOM lecture on the topic "Antigypsyism as an obstacle to empowerment" and inclusion of Roma and Roma women at the local level," held by Ms. Marina Vasić, ROMACTED Regional Program Manager, Team for Roma and Travelers, Council of Europe (Serbia).

 

The trustee of the Faculty of Architecture, Vladimir Fatić, also addressed those present.
