Meet this years Vis Moot team of the Faculty of Law
Meet the members of this years Vis Moot team of the Faculty of Law, which will represent the University of Montenegro at the 30th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot - a prestigious international competition in commercial arbitration in Vienna.
Božo Knežević was born on 24.7.2001. in Bijelo Polje, Montenegro. He graduated from Grammar School Niko Rolović in Bar in 2020, with Luča reward. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at the Faculty of Law, University of Montenegro, where he is currently in his 3rd and final year of studies. During high school and studies, Božo participated in number of projects and courses. His academic success has been rewarded with a scholarship provided by the City of Bar. This year, he decided to challenge himself and participate in the 30th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, and hopes to acquire new valuable skills that will help him in his career. His passion include sports, precisely football, as well as movies. He is fluent in English while having an intermediate knowledge of Italian, which he aspires to improve.
Milica Radulović was born on March 22, 2001 in Podgorica. She attended the Grammar school "Slobodan Škerović" and she is recipient of diploma "Luca". She is currently in her final year of undergraduate studies in legal sciences. During high school and college, she participated in international projects in Switzerland and Italy, as well as trainings organized by the Council of Europe. As high school student she was Golden Advisor of the Ombudsman of Montenegro, a finalist in the state competition in sociology, and now she is the Ombudsman of the MENSA Montenegro. This year, she decided to apply for the 30th Williem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in order to gain additional knowledge and experience. She enjoys the time spent with her friends the most. She is fluent in English and has significant knowledge of the Italian.
Nina Gošović was born on January 17, 2001 in Podgorica. She attended the "Slobodan Škerović" Gymnasium and she is recipient of diploma "Luča". She is currently in her final year of undergraduate studies in legal sciences. She is particularly interested in Corporate and Business law. During her education, she participated in numerous projects and courses. For many years, she was a volunteer of the Red Cross and the organization Their Smile. As a long-time member of the volleyball team, she knows how to function in a team and work under pressure. This year, she decided to apply for the 30th Williem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in order to gain additional experience and contribute with her qualities to the team. She is fluent in English and has significant knowledge of the German. She enjoys the time spent with her friends the most.
Anja Koprivica is a 23-year-old student at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro. She finished elementary school, high school, and music school in Niksic, with honors and remarkable results. Since high school, she has had many competitions behind her, both in the musical sphere and in the social sciences. As a law student, Anja engaged in numerous seminars and extracurricular activities. She recognized an ambition towards international law from her early student days, and she has been working towards its accomplishment career-wise ever since. Emphasizes that she is a motivated law student with a strong ambition to gain experience and knowledge in corporate and commercial law on both national and international level. When it comes to her international background, she gained valuable experience during her exchange in Strasbourg, France, through the Erasmus program. That helped her to improve both her English and French language during the lectures and practice at the Court of Justice. This unique experience was a breaking point for Anja in her career and ambition. Hence, during the exchange, she used this opportunity to express her thoughts and views in front of a prominent audience and get to know EU law better. In addition, she attended numerous seminars on Human rights and aspects of the EU. Furthermore, she had been playing violin and piano for 16 years and was still actively involved in music. She was a Red Cross volunteer for several years, and during her service, she won numerous rewards in first aid competitions, leadership, and social care awareness. Her leadership skills originate from the sports as Anja was actively playing volleyball for more than ten years. Besides her native language, she is fluent in English and intermediate in French, while she has a basic knowledge of the Spanish language. In her spare time, her hobbies are reading, playing the violin, and training.
This year, the Vis Moot Montenegro team will participate in the Willem C. Wis Moot competition in Vienna for the 9th time in a row, and will also take part in numerous preparatory competitions around the world (Rome, Prague, Zenica, Belgrade, etc). The teams preparations are organized and led by Nikolina Tomović, teaching assistant at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro, Ognjen Ćipović, independent lawyer and Mina Radonjić, compliance manager at the investment company NOZAX AD.
