Summer School "Sustainable Development of Yachting and Cruising Industry" at the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Kotor

The University of Montenegro - Faculty of Maritime Studies in Kotor is organizing the first accredited six-day summer school (LLL program) entitled "Sustainable Development of Yachting and Cruising Industries" in the period from 18 to 23 July 2022. The summer school program is intended for students and employees in the maritime economy. Participants in the summer school program will have the opportunity to receive a certificate with 2 ECTS credits upon completion of the training.

 

The program supports the creation of a governance structure that can better respond to the challenges of future maritime development. This interdisciplinary program covers the wider field of maritime affairs, maritime business and management, nautical and cruise tourism, their impact on the environment and management of the protection of the marine environment, coast and others. In addition to the teaching staff from the University of Montenegro, the participation of prominent representatives from the profession from partner higher education institutions is expected in the project.

 

The training program was created as a result of the Erasmus + CBHE project "Encouraging internationalization in Montenegrin higher education institutions through effective strategic planning (IESP)". In accordance with the funding rules of the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), the first generation of participants is exempt from paying training costs.
