Learning outcomes:

After passing this exam a student will be able to: - Define the concept of personality in the context of psychological concepts and demarcate it from the meanings and connotations related to common sense psychology; - Explain the person as a complete system composed of individual elements: feature - dispositions, instances, processes, personal constructs and how etc .; to explain the concept of type and subjected to certain typology of personality; - Explain the concept of personality structure, concept and dynamics of personality development, taking into account the differences arising from certain theories of personality; - Explain the concept of self-awareness, the concept of personal identity and the concepts of integrity and maturity of the personality; - Explain Freud's psychoanalytic theory with its basic concepts - the conscious, preconscious and unconscious - and to present the model structure, dynamics and personality development from the perspective of this theory; - Explain Levin’s topological theory of personality and to present its solutions for the issues of the structure and dynamics of personality; - Explain Allport’s personalistic theory of properties as well as its solutions for the issues of structure, dynamics and personality development; - Explain Catel 's factor theory of characteristics, including basic "logic" of factor analysis as a method by which it is displayed; to explain its solutions for the issues of the structure and dynamics of personality; - Explain Eysenck’s dimensional typology including its neurophysiological basis; - Explain the structure and use of certain personality tests.
