Learning outcomes:

The student must acquire the following skills and knowledge: Uses a vocabulary of appropriate terminology enabling efficient exchange of information related to the anatomy and physiology of animals. Understands the basic principles of tissue and organ system functioning in representatives of the animal kingdom at different levels of evolutionary development. Identifies and explains the principles of homeostasis in the control processes of tissue and organ systems in the bodies of representatives of the animal kingdom at different levels of evolutionary development. Understands the basic principles and directions of structural and functional complexity, and differentiation of tissues and organs in the context of evolutionary development. Understands physiological mechanisms enabling animals to tolerate diverse stressors from the environment.
