Aims | The goal of studying the course is the formation of teaching staff in the field of music pedagogy and music education according to the needs of the educational process in primary schools and gymnasiums. |

Aims | The aim of the course is to study the context and directions in contemporary music, to learn about the institutional framework for its development, the study of music in the space of intermedia and polymedia, the relationship of art to the political, economic and social context - thus a complex knowledge of various phenomena from musical life in their mutual relationship. The aim of the course is also for students to learn how to study and acquire the habit of self-education and building the basis of critical thinking. |
Learning outcomes | Basic knowledge of developmental processes in contemporary music. Understanding how music interacts with other arts. Knowledge of the institutional framework for the development of music and training for cooperation with those institutions. Mastery of the study material and the ability to creatively apply the acquired knowledge in the native field of study. |

It was designed within the framework of problem circles related to the consideration of the most significant phenomena in European, world and national music. Topics: Systematization of musical disciplines (historical overview, contemporary approaches). The status of musical performance, creativity and science in contemporary society. Institutions of musical life. Music and film. |

Sovereignly masters the skills of teaching. He is able to reflect on issues related to music pedagogy and carry out research on that topic. The student is capable of realizing a masters thesis in an argumentative and scientifically based manner and defending it publicly. |

Special remarks | Realization of subjects within this module takes place through individual consultations in the preparation of the masters thesis. Consultations include, in addition to the collection and analysis of literature for the chosen topic, the preparation and implementation of research as a central part of the masters thesis. The goal of the research is to encourage and train students for further scientific and research work in the field of music pedagogy, as well as to investigate the situation in Montenegrin school practice, which gives the work greater significance for the wider music pedagogy community.
