Guest lecture on the role of mathematicians and programmers in the world of algorithms and business tomorrow at 2 p.m.

Professor Dragan Radulović from the Florida Atlantic University in the USA will give a guest lecture on "The role of mathematicians and programmers in the modern world of algorithms and business", tomorrow, June 15 at 2 pm, in the Blue Hall of the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro.

The aim of the lecture is to acquaint young students with employment opportunities and career development in the field of mathematics and computer science. The professor will present some of the specific projects such as algorithms in the field of professional sports (USA), mathematical prediction and disease detection in patients (USA, EU).

All interested students and colleagues are invited to attend the lecture of an informative nature, with the possibility of asking questions and commenting.

Prof. Dragan Radulović, PhD is an expert in the application of statistics in various fields (business, sports). He completed his bachelor's degree in mathematics at the University of Zagreb, while he completed his doctoral studies in probability theory and mathematical statistics at the University of Connecticut (USA). He completed his postdoctoral studies in 2001 at Princeton University in New Jersey and, as part of his research area, dealt with mathematical models for Internet traffic.
