Motivation and goals



  • Respond to the TECHNOLOGY challenges introduced with the NEW POPULAR PARADIGM called Compressive Sensing (CS)
  • Build Regional Research Center (with all capacities and expertise) dedicated to Compressive Sensing based Future and Emerging Technologies (FET)
  • Introduce CS solutions in the practical applications with focus on:
    • MULTIMEDIA SYSTEMS
    • BIOMEDICINE
    • COMMUNICATIONS (wireless signals, radars, sonars)
  • Why CS:
    • Because CS promises SMART acquisition and processing, SMART ENERGY consumption, lower radiation of biomedical devices, lower exposure time
    • Because we proved by NUMEROUS APPLICATION-MOTIVATED PUBLICATIONS that we are able to contribute to development of NEW CS SOLUTIONS AND INNOVATIONS
