Zdravko Babić was born on November 29, 1979 in Nikšić, Montenegro. He studied Russian language and literature at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Montenegro and graduated in 2003. He enrolled in the postgraduate studies in language science at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade in the academic year 2003/04 and defended his masters thesis "Impersonality in Modern Russian, Polish and Serbian languages" in 2007.
