The Institute of Marine Biology celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of the University of Montenegro by opening the doors of the Boka Aquarium and offering free admission to visitors from April 24 to 29, the University of Montenegro Day.

The Boka Aquarium was open to all visitors, giving them the opportunity to explore the marine life of the Adriatic Sea. More than 3,500 visitors enjoyed the beauty of the Boka Aquarium, and the institute was honored to share this special moment with them. The Boka Aquarium is particularly focused on educating preschool and school-age children, as evidenced by the over 3,200 visitors of that age group from across Montenegro during the 2023/2024 school year.

In addition to exploring the marine life of the Adriatic Sea, visitors had the chance to enjoy "swimming with dolphins" using virtual reality glasses. Other benefits were also available, especially for the citizens of Kotor, including additional discounts through the Kotor Pass card. A "city pass" card, allowing access to multiple attractions at a reduced price, is also in preparation.

The Boka Aquarium is open every day from 10 AM to 5 PM, with extended hours from 9 AM to 9 PM starting June 1.

Thank you for being part of our anniversary celebration!
