Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to: - Explain the concept, characteristics and structure of electric drives, - Illustrates the structure of electrical drives, - Explain the principle of operation of electric drives, - Mathematically describes and creates simulation models of electrical machines, as the main components of electrical drives, - Explain the coupling of all elements of electric drives, - Understands the influence of controllable parameters of electric machines on current and torque.
