1. Read, write, listen and speak on the level “B”, according to European referent framework for languages. 2. Apply general vocabulary, describe events and scenery, talk about modern subjects (Internet, media, social networks, globalization) 3. Know basic ship terminology relating to ship characteristics, movement, terms for ship departments basic equipment and staff. 4. Ask questions and make a report about past events, write reports about general and specialized themes. 5. Get familiar with basic ship checklists and forms, write an email or letter.
