Call for participants

CALL FOR THE ADMISSION OF 10 STUDENTS TO THE TRAINING COURSE "Bet on the Beat", BUILDING SUSTAINABLE MUSICAL CAREERS

FOR YOUNG PROFESSIONALS

 

Music Academy – University of Montenegro, together with partners:

 

·         LAZIOcrea S.p.A. (Coordinatore) – Italy

·         Associazione Arte2o (Arte2o) – Italy

·         Bashkia Kruje (Kruje) – Albania

 

under the CREA-CULT-2023-COOP programme, the European projecBet on the Beat! Building sustainable music careers for young professionals, selects:

 

·         No. 10 young people (boys and girls) aged between 18 and 30 from the music industry sectors to participate in a training course.

 

The objective of the training activities is to nurture young talents and improve the development of entrepreneurial and professional skills of the target groups to enable them to adapt to new creative processes and new market and business changes in particular the green and digital transition.

The aim of the training is to encourage the professional development of European music professionals in order to promote its competitiveness on an international scale.

Ten students per country will be selected and invited to participate in the course, which will be held in English and will consist of three stages:

 

1.  LEARN: In this phase, the training course takes place online. To ensure that participants can interact and exchange ideas effectively, interactive communication tools such as chats, video conferences and forums will be used to facilitate networking and collaboration between participants and teachers. The course will be divided into teaching modules.

2. DEVELOP: In this phase, the training will take place in person. The students will be in Rome, in the beautiful setting of the Santa Severa castle, where they will have the opportunity to enjoy an immersive experience as a follow-up to the online training course.

Participants will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired in the theoretical part through practical and group activities in a safe and supported environment.

 

3. PERFORM: The final phase of the capacity-building course involves the realisation of a final project in which participants will have the opportunity to apply all the skills and knowledge acquired in the previous phases of

 

the course, putting them into practice in a real context. Participants will be asked to organise a musical event in complete autonomy, managing

 

·         All aspects of the process from choice to audience;

·         About the selection of artists;

·         Budget management;

·         To the realisation of the reference event;
