Info Day for Current and Future Students Held at the Maritime Faculty, on Wednesday, May 15th, 2019.

First part of program, held in the amphitheatre of the Faculty, was devoted to second year students who are about to decide for one of offered modules and elective courses at third year. Students of all four newly-accredited study programs attended the presentation: Navigation and Maritime Transport, Maritime Management and Logistics, Maritime Engineering and Maritime Electrical Engineering

The presentation was opened by Vice-Dean for lecture, Milena Dzeverdanovic-Pejovic expressing pleasure for the reason the first year of the new academic studies will has an opportunity to form knowledge of freshmen through selected modules and elective courses and the first enrolled generation in new academic programs is almost at the end of studying.

Detail presentation of subjects at third year, i.e. elective course in the V semester and elective modules in the VI semester was performed by Assistant Professor Tatijana Dlabac, head of study program Maritime Electrical Engineering who itself contributed to reactivation and structure of existing programs. Students were very active in discussion and inquired for elective courses, number of credits, but also further education, i.e. enrolment at master studies at our Faculty.

Second part of the day was devoted to high school students, freshmen some of whom will probably become our students. Especial interest was expressed by pupils of the Maritime High School who traditionally continue their education at our institution. Next to them, students of the Gymnasiums from Kotor and Ulcinj also attended the presentation. Students had the opportunity to attend presentation on benefits of studying and enrolment deadlines at the University of Montenegro and study programs of

During the presentation, Assistant Professor Tatijana Dalabac presented all advantages of studying at any of four departments of the Maritime Faculty, and indicated possibilities available after graduation at the University, study exchanges, lecturing and non-lecturing activities. Our current students took a part in presenting our Faculty and expressed their opinion on studying at the Maritime Faculty within interaction with high school pupils. As the real hosts, we introduced guests with premises for practices, navigation and maritime engineering simulator where students could be acquainted with real working environment on conning tower, i.e. mechanical space. Interested students also visited Laboratory got electrical engineering and HV simulator. A cocktail was organized afterward in premises of students club.

Whether they come or leave, youth and our current and we believe future students of the Maritime Faculty Kotor embellished today event.
