The maritime profession is traditionally interesting and attractive to young people because of all that it represents, both in a symbolic and practical sense, especially as regards deck officers as navigators and the highest rank of ship's captain. According to the number of candidates, we see that the study program Ship Building, where there are 36 places left, out of the planned 60, does not lag far behind the program for decks, and we are sure that Maritime Electrical Engineering, with the help of which the title of Officer of Electrical Engineering is acquired. to have more and more interested candidates ", Dževerdanović Pejović said.

“The Faculty of Maritime Studies in Kotor primarily trains staff for the world market. Therefore, we closely follow the trends on the world labor market for these professional profiles, and the general tendency indicates an increased demand for officers ", says Dževerdanović Pejović and adds that this sufficiently explains why the study programs of the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Kotor are more than current.

The young population, Dževerdanović Pejović points out, has recognized and acknowledged numerous activities of the Faculty in the past period, which are the basis for a bright future for both the Faculty and the University of Montenegro, as well as the Montenegrin maritime industry.
