Continuation of a Long Year Cooperation with Obuda University within Erasmus+ Program

Within Erasmus+ mobility program Špiro Ivošević, PhD, Dean of the Maritime Faculty Kotor of the University of Montenegro (UMNE), Senka Šekularac-Ivošević, PhD, coordinator for international cooperation of the Maritime Faculty Kotor UMNE and Nikolina Radulović, associate for mobility from the International Cooperation and Mobility Office UMNE, stayed on Donát Bánki Faculty for mechanical and safety engineering of Obud University in Budapest in the period from March 6th to 10th 2023.   

Representatives of the University of Montenegro had a series of meetings with representatives of partner University, Erzsébet Ancza, PhD, Vice-Dean for teaching, Szakács Tamás, PhD, Erasmus coordinator, Edit Tóth-Laufer, PhD, manager of the Institute for Mechatronics and Engineering, as well as all colleagues from department for international cooperation from Donát Bánki Faculty for mechanical and safety engineering that organized this a five-day work visit.   

Representatives of the University of Montenegro discussed with their colleagues the continuation of cooperation within the Erasmus+ program, as well as potential research projects in the field of engineering. Invitations to scientific conferences organized by the faculties of partner universities were also exchanged. The possibility of mixed mobility was discussed, contributing to higher number of student mobility in both directions.

University of Montenegro has successfully cooperated with Obuda University from Budapest within Erasmus+ program of credit mobility ever since 2018. The cooperation is established between the Maritime Faculty Kotor and “Donát Bánki” faculty for mechanical and safety engineering. So far, a row of mobility of teaching and non-teaching staff has been achieved as well as student mobility. In current semester on the Maritime Faculty Kotor a student of undergraduate studies from Obuda University is staying, while implementation of incoming mobility of teaching and administrative staff from this partner institution is expected by the end of the current academic year.
