Opis : This project aims to develop an innovative, robust, scalable, and adaptable mobile microgrid (MuG) for powering secure objects by introducing a novel network component called the Universal Microgrid Conditioner (UuGC) into traditional microgrids. The UuGC will ensure secure and efficient operation in microgrids by incorporating advanced functions and services, including supporting microgrid power quality, active and reactive power flow balancing, black start, and grid services during regular and disturbed operations of existing and future microgrids. During the initial project phase, a harmonic power flow model will be developed to identify and test optimal locations and roles for the UuGC, aiming to enhance voltage quality, efficiency, and secure operation. Additionally, a fault-tolerant controller will be designed using data-driven microgrid models to establish a reliable and safe infrastructure for the UuGC. The project will employ advanced methods, including AI techniques, the sliding mode control approach, and the observer-based control design. The ultimate goal is to develop a reliable and adaptable power supply for MuG suitable for various scenarios such as emergencies, lack of traditional grids, mobile military bases, and other security-critical locations. The project will result in specific guidelines for designing MuG and a laboratory-tested (TRL4) prototype with an integrated UuGC.
