After passing this exam, students will be able to: 1. Define the concepts of phrases and sentences in the German language. 2. Determine the relationship of words in a sentence using dependency graphs. 3. Describe the functions of different words and phrases in a sentence. 4. Differentiate types of complements in the German language. 5. Reformulate a phrase into a sentence and vice versa.
