Project objectives
Overall objective:
Organizing the systematic approach and developing the system for restructuring existing engineering programmes at the Faculty which have been defined as outdated, not in line with modern labour market needs, not in line with modern approaches to the engineering education.
Specific objective:
Creation a reformed study programmes in accordance with new developments in engineering studies as well as creation of the possibility to deliver the pool of young engineers with diversified competences, professional as well as soft skills competences. Restructured study programmes will be in line with modern engineering education in EHEA which will enable better connectivity of our Faculty with EHEA and ERA as well as better mobility of our graduate students and young professionals. New curricula will also be the base for the future development of joint programmes on second and third level of study.
Faculty has made a kind of needs analysis along with the strategic approach to the future developments. The document “Analysis of the state-of-art of Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology” was adopted on Faculty Council in early October 2015.
