At the invitation of the dean prof. This was an opportunity for the deans to sign the Agreement on Academic Cooperation between two faculties that are very similar in many ways. For example, the Faculty of Agriculture and Food in Sarajevo is the oldest higher education institution (faculty) of the University of Sarajevo - established by a decree of the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia in March 1940, and the Biotechnical Faculty is the oldest scientific research institution in Montenegro - established by a decree Yugoslavia in April 1937.
The dean's teams of both faculties pointed out the great importance of signing the agreement, and the main goal is to further strengthen and promote scientific, educational and cultural cooperation between the two institutions. The agreement stipulates that cooperation is realized through mutual exchange of teachers, researchers, students and other staff, joint participation, applying for funds intended for educational and research activities, networking in research associations such as CASEE - a network of faculties of natural sciences in Central and Southeast Europe, etc. ., as well as numerous other activities that will facilitate the future development and consideration of special cooperation programs of interest to both parties.
