After passing the exam, the student is qualified to: • Collect data and define the benefits of natural conditions for the production of major plants for livestock as well as to determine the appropriate technology for their growth and exploitation. Bearing in mind that on the cattle „Production of fodder crops“ is the only subject in the field of plant production, study program is is also covered to the extent necessary with areas of natural conditions for the production of forage crops ( soil and climate). • Apply acquired knowledge in practice by planning type anda volume of production of forage crops in order to achieve better results. • Indicate the need for the change in the understanding of the importance of nutrition in livestock production and to critically assess deficiencies which characterize it. • Analyze and determine the impact of technological and organiyational changes on the performance and to present the results in required volume and form. • Select a production program that will make the best valorized given natural conditions and to recommend appropriate technological conditions.
