Voluntary Health Insurance for Employees of the University of Montenegro
WHAT DOES IT IMPLY?
· Regular yearly check-up per the insured
· Out of hospital treatment if needed, with upper limit of 1000 euros
· Your doctor on line– doctors of the Medical contact centre are at disposal 24/7/365
CHECK-UP – BACKGROUND INFORMATION
· Applications for a medical check-up can be submitted to the email addresses of the secretaries of the organizational units of the University of Montenegro.
· Bring your ID card with you.
· The medical check-up lasts between 90 and 120 minutes.
WHAT IS INCLUDED AND HOW TO BE PREPARED?
· Laboratory tests, ultrasound examinations, gynaecological and colposcopy examination with necessary analyses, specialist urology examination (for men), Doppler examination of neck blood vessels (for men), ECG, and a family medicine doctors examination with conclusions and recommendations.
· For reliable laboratory test results, it is necessary to avoid bloating-inducing food the day before the medical check-up and to have a light last meal no later than 7-8 PM. On the day of the check-up, no food or drinks should be consumed except for water.

· This is an additional insurance provided by Lovćen Insurance through its partner MediGuide America, allowing clients to obtain a second medical opinion. WHAT IS IMPORANT TO NOTE?
· If an employee cannot find an adequate service in the network of institutions offered, one can find an adequate service out of given network, where participation is 30% of total service price.

IDENTIFICATION: PERSONAL ID OR PASSPORT
- After registering via email with the secretary of the organizational units of the University of Montenegro, it is no longer necessary to have a physical card as proof that an employee is an insured person or a user of voluntary health insurance services. Employees can now use one of the valid identification documents (ID card or passport) for identification at the healthcare facility.
