The reconstructed Auditorium 106 has been opened in the building of the technical faculties

At the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, the reconstructed Auditorium 106 has been inaugurated, which, according to the Rector of the University of Montenegro Vladimir Božović, represents the future of Montenegro.

Božović stated that a significant endeavor had been undertaken, and the opening of the reconstructed hall, valued at nearly half a million euros, marks an important and ceremonial moment in the life of the University.

"Some places hold special emotions for us. We return to this hall, often referred to as the heart of the University, with unique feelings, sentiments known to us from our student days and even earlier from school competitions," said Božović.

According to him, Auditorium 106 holds a special value for all students who have ever set foot in it.

"Some may say that this hall has historical significance for certain societal processes, and they are certainly correct. We can say that it’s given birth to many things, serving as a source for numerous social movements that marked an era. Whats important is what happens here every day and will continue to happen in this hall. It may sound like a slogan, but if anything is closest to the truth, its this sentence: The future of this country is born in this hall," Božović believes.

He expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed in various ways to make the hall look as it does today.

"The hall is impressive and beautiful. All of you have done this in a special way. Thanks to architect Nevena Mašanović, who put in great effort. Thanks to everyone who oversaw the projects progress, thanks for the encouragement. Thanks to Professor Radulović, who lived with this project 24/7, as well as to Dean Saša Mujović, who initiated that we start this valuable project ourselves," Božović noted.

The Rector is confident that the reconstructed hall will be as meaningful to future generations of students as it has been to previous ones.
