February Edition of Sport Mont Journal Indexed in 44 Global Scientific Bases
February edition of the scientific journal Sport Mont, indexed in 44 global scientific bases, brings 20 titles of papers written by authors from all over the world.
‘The last issue of Sport Mont is the richest one so far in number of scientists and represented topics. The reputation of this journal is best represented by index in 44 international databases with the most important index in Scopus’’, Dusko Bjelica PhD, editor-in-chief of this journal said.
Sport Mont, having been published since 2003, published more than 1,400 scientific papers so far and today it represents the foundation for expansion cooperation network of scientists in the field of sport.
‘Sport Mont mainly publishes papers from the scientific conferences of Montenegrin Sports Academy which has been traditionally held for 16 years, every year in April and it gathers scientific names from all around the world’, Professor Bjelica added.
Journal is focused on current topics in the field of sports science and sports medicine. Next to Professor Bjelica, Zoran Milosevic, PhD, is the chief editor from the University of Novi Sad, while Jovan Gardasevic is the editor-in-chief.
Sport Mont is published three times a year: in February, June and October. Next editions will be enriched by papers from the conference in Dubrovnik, Croatia, that will be held from April 4th to 7th, 2019, on the topic: ‘Sport, Physical Activity and Health: Contemporary Perspectives’. The conference is organized by Montenegrin Sports Academy in cooperation with the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education of UoM, the University of Montenegro and other traditional partner institutions.
