Competition for Scholarships of NR China

Hereby we inform interested candidates that competition for scholarships of the Government NR China is open for academic 2020/2021.

These scholarships do not include travel costs.

All candidates have to pass through electronic registration of the Chinese Council for Scholarships. More information at: http://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina  or  www.campuschina.org .

 

In order to apply for these scholarships, candidates shall:

  • Be citizens of Montenegro and be of good health;
  • Be graduated seniors younger than 25 years when applying for bachelor studies;
  • Have diploma of graduated bachelor studies, at the age of under 35 years if applying for master programs;
  • Have master diploma, at the age under 40 if applying for PhD programs;
  • Be younger than 45 and with minimum two years of bachelor studies if applying for general academic programs;
  • Have master title or Associate Professor (or higher) if applying for higher academic programs at the age under 50.  

Necessary documentation:

  1. Application form for scholarship of the Government of NR China (in Chinese or English). The form is available at http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/
  2. Passport copy: a candidate has to submit a clearly scanned copy of passport valid longer than March 1st 2021. If validity of the current passport does not meet requirements, please apply for a new one before submitting the application;  
  3. Notary stamped Diploma on Highest Degree: candidates expecting to obtain diploma have to submit an official evidence by their faculty on their student status. Next to documentation, that is not written in Chinese or English, should submit translations in Chinese or English with notary seal;   
  4. Plan of studies or research in Chinese or English (minimum 200 words for bachelor studies, minimum 500 words for research and up to 800 words for postgraduate studies);
  5. Letters of recommendation: candidates applying for programs for acquiring knowledge or research work have to submit two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English written by professors or associate professors;   
  6. Candidates for studies within field of music are expected to submit CD with their works. Candidates for fine arts have to submit CD with their works including two drawings, two paintings in color and another two pieces of art;  
  7. Candidates younger than 18 should submit valid documentation about their fosters in China;  
  8. Candidates planning to stay in China longer than 6 months should submit medical certificate in English for foreigners, printed two sided in English.

Examinations should include all items from the form for medical examination of foreigners. Incomplete results or the ones without signature of the right doctor, official stamp of the hospital or candidate’s photo with seal are not valid. Please do your medical examinations on time since their validity is only six months;  

 

If having the documentation:

  1. Candidates who got “Pre-admission letter” by a suitable university should deliver this letter with application;
  2. Certificate on level of English: HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi-Chinese Proficiency Test), IELTS or TOEFL report.

“Pre-admission” letter significantly increases possibility to get scholarship. Candidates are advised to contact Chinese universities which they want to get the letter from.

All documents filed online should be legible, authentic and valid. Candidates who apply are advised to use professional apparatus for scanning documentation. Candidates will bear consequences by themselves caused by electronic delivery of documentation that is not legible or is hard to identify.
