The grape harvest has started on the Experimental Estate of the Biotechnical Faculty in Lješkopolje. The production is dominated by varieties Vranac (14 ha) and Kratošija (4 ha). In addition, the harvest will include 2 ha of experimental plantations, as well as a collection of genetic resources of the vine with about 400 different genotypes (about 1 ha).

Grape yields this year are very good, about 50% higher than in the previous year. The grapes are of excellent quality, so the quality of wine and brandy is expected to be at a recognizable level.

If the weather conditions are favorable, the end of the harvest is expected in about twenty days.
