Alumni Club

Message from the Dean to Our Alumni
Dear Friends, Dear Colleagues in Mechanical Engineering,
At a time when we celebrate the half-century of the existence of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, it is essential for us to not only focus on the education that we are dedicated to at the faculty but also take new steps and initiatives to connect our institution with the real sector for which we educate our engineers.
The new quality that lies ahead should be connecting us at the faculty with all of our graduated engineers, who are now building Montenegro, solving complex problems in companies and state institutions within their areas of expertise. In this important task, all of them carry the name of the faculty they attended, representing our best personal card, which we are very proud of as an institution. In the past half-century, we have successfully graduated over 1000 engineers, masters, and doctors of science, which represents a significant human, professional, and scientific potential on which Montenegro has relied and will continue to rely in the future.
We are confident that the exciting profession of a mechanical engineer will remain attractive in the future, as there is much work ahead of us: decarbonization of all sectors of industry and services, development of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency in all segments of society, and the development of transportation, agriculture, industry, and tourism. These are all sectors and fields where significant progress, let alone meaningful results, cannot be made without our people.
The Alumni Club of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering will be our common space for all of you, engineers, who have the desire and will to improve collaboration with us on topics of mutual interest. Through this, we plan to promote and strengthen the reputation of our profession in the country, the surrounding region, and beyond.
The goals of our Alumni Club are:
- Developing and enhancing cooperation between the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and its graduated engineers
- Mutual exchange of information regarding the professional and scientific activities of the Alumni Club members
- Connecting alumni and the faculty on projects of mutual interest
- Involvement of Alumni Club members in the revision of existing and creation of new study programs
- Developing cooperation between the faculty and the companies, institutions, and organizations where our alumni are employed
- Enhancing practical and other activities in collaboration with faculty students
- Promoting and affirming the profession of mechanical engineering in society
- Establishing connections with educational and research institutions in the country and abroad.
I hope that, together, we will continuously expand the forms of cooperation and improve the work of our Alumni Club in the years to come.
We invite all of you to join us as future members and contribute to the better future of our Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, so that future generations of students can obtain high-quality and recognizable academic degrees, which you already possess.
You can become an alumnus of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering by completing the application form.
