Agreement on cooperation signed between the University of Montenegro and the University of Novi Sad
The delegation of the University of Montenegro visited the University of Novi Sad, and one of the reasons was the renewal of the Agreement on Cooperation signed by the acting Rector of the University of Montenegro full prof. Vladimir Božović, PhD and the rector of the University of Novi Sad full prof. Dejan Jakšić, PhD.
The aim of this agreement is to improve cooperation in the field of higher education, research and international cooperation.
“By signing this agreement, we will continue and strengthen the cooperation between the two higher education institutions in the next four years, with a special focus on development projects and scientific research activities, important not only for universities but also for the societies in which they live", said the Acting Rector full prof. Vladimir Božović, PhD.
The details of the cooperation will be agreed in the work programs, with the appointment of a coordinator who will be in charge of the activities defined by the agreement. These include organizing scientific symposia and conferences, promoting joint publications of scientific and teaching materials, exchange of professors, teaching and non-teaching staff, exchange of students, but also academic publications, textbooks and other data.
The delegation of the University of Montenegro, which discussed future activities related to the expansion of cooperation with the University of Novi Sad, also included the President of the Steering Committee, full prof. Rajka Glušica, PhD, member of the SC of UM Milijana Novović-Burić, the Vice-Rector for Science full prof. Irena Orović, PhD, Vice-Rector for Internationalization assoc. prof. Sanja Peković and the Vice-Rector for Teaching full prof. Veselin Mićanović, PhD.
The hosts from Novi Sad, in addition to Rector Jakšić, were also the president of the UNS council, full prof. Lazar Savin, PhD, the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of UNS full prof. Dejan Madić, PhD and Vice-Rector for Finance and Organization full prof. Vladislav Zekić, PhD.
During the visit to the University of Novi Sad, the delegation visited the campus of the University, as well as the Faculty of Technical Sciences and the Science and Technology Park in Novi Sad.
