Lecture "Creativity in Science" by full prof. Veljko Milutinović, PhD on September 14

Full prof. Veljko Milutinović, PhD, a lecturer at the University of Indiana and a visiting professor at the University of Belgrade, will hold a lecture on "Creativity in Science", on Tuesday, September 14 at 11 am, in the Blue Hall of the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro.

The lecture will consist of two parts:

  • The first part will show a video on ten methods of inducing creativity in science and in students, with examples from computer logic and interpretations through examples close to the areas to which the listeners belong, lasting five minutes.
  • The second part shows a 30-minute video, with greetings for Montenegrin science (Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts and the University of Montenegro) and pearls of wisdom of 20 Nobel laureates, in which the mentioned ten methods are seen in action, which will be discussed in particular contexts of interest to listeners.

Full prof. Veljko Milutinović, PhD received his PhD from the University of Belgrade and spent over ten years in various positions at colleges in the United States. He is one of the designers of the first DARPA GaAs RISC microprocessor. Since 1990, he has been teaching and conducting research at the University of Belgrade in the fields of ECE, MATH, MBA and PHYS / CHEM.

Professor Milutinović is a lifelong associate of the IEEE in Washington. He is the custodian of the tangible and intangible treasures of the European Academy (Academia Europaea) and a foreign member of CANU. He is also the founder and a member of the Serbian Academy of Engineering in Belgrade.
