Horizon Europe: Open Calls within Cluster 2 - Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society
Within Cluster 2 "Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society" of the EU research and innovation program Horizon Europe, calls were published which Montenegrin institutions and organizations dealing with these topics are eligible to apply for.
Cluster 2 "Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society" aims to strengthen European democratic values, such as: the rule of law, preservation of cultural heritage, as well as promote socio-economic transformations that contribute to inclusion and growth.
Proposals for future projects should contribute to the expected impacts of the Work Program, described in three destinations:
- Innovative Research on Democracy and Governance
- Innovative Research on the European Cultural Heritage and the Cultural and Creative Industries
- Innovative Research on Social and Economic Transformations.

Topics under the call: Research and innovation on cultural heritage and cultural and creative industries for 2022 are:
- Improving the international competitiveness of the European film industry;
- New European Bauhaus - promoting a better quality of life in creative and inclusive societies through architecture, design and art;
- Preservation of endangered languages in Europe;
- Traditional crafts for the future - a new approach;
- Protection of artifacts and cultural property from anthropogenic threats;
- Effects of climate change and natural disasters on cultural heritage and ways of overcoming it;
- European cultural heritage and arts - promotion of values in the country and abroad;
- Video games and culture shape our society;
- Competitive and sustainable music ecosystem;
- The role of perception shaped by traditions, values and beliefs in shaping European societies and policies in the 21st century.
Calls are open until April 20, 2022 at 5:00 PM, and applications are to be submitted in electronic form through the Funding & Tenders Opportunity portal.
