Belgrade Audience Thrilled by Students of Acting

 

 A long applause in overcrowded hole of theatre „Zvezdara“ in Belgrade, after acted  play „Tre sorelle“, confirmed the quality of acting of students and professors, director and production of the Faculty of Drama of the University of Montenegro.

Students on fourth year of acting presented themselves to Belgrade audience on March 31st, through examination play created in coproduction of the Faculty of Drama and Cultural Centre in Tivat.

The play focuses on issues of false moral, love, passion and fettering desires through story of three sisters from Prcanj who are in love with a sailor. This play concerns about new version of an old text of a prominent playwright Stevan Koprivica.  Director of the play Zoran Rakočević, and actors are: Marija Đurić, Jelena Đukić, Marija Labudović, Omar Bajramspahić, Vule Marković and Pavle Popović.

Regarding the play and his acting, playwright Koprivica states as follows:

-  “Sorelle” come back to Tivat, in poetic interpretation of students from the Faculty of Drama from Cetinje where I teach dramaturgy and in premiere production or coproduction of Cultural Centre in Tivat. More precisely, „Tre sorelle“ come back home to see in what way legends and demons and loves are interpreted by the latest generation of Montenegrin drama artists. Is there anything better for a writer and professor in school where director and actors come from?  Young mister Director and distinguished Actors, your professor is honored by a new energy given to his play, and new meanings and demonic loves; words uttered by writer Koprivica about this play.
