Competition for Enrolment of New Students will be announced on June 25th
On June 25th, 2019, The University of Montenegro will announce a competition for enrollment of students in the first year of undergraduate studies, for academic 2019/2020, which will be published in the daily journals in Montenegro, as well as on the official website of the University.
‘3,486 budget places are foreseen by the competition, at 19 faculties of the University of Montenegro. Applications for the competition will be submitted on June 26th and 27th, 2019,’ Vice-rector for lecture of the UoM, Djurdjica Perovic, PhD.
Vice-rector Perovic added that Montenegrin citizens and foreigners who have obtained the appropriate qualification of IV-1 sublevel of the National Qualifications Framework, have the right to apply for the Admission Competition, in accordance to the law.
‘In addition to the application for enrollment, a candidate encloses the original diploma of the passed external high school exam or professional examination; the original certificates on completed particular classes of secondary education, the diploma ‘Luča’ or an equivalent diploma, a copy of the biometric ID card, and appropriate personal document, for foreigners, issued in accordance with a special regulation, a diploma (or equivalent document) on the won first or second prize at a state or international competition in subjects of relevance for continuing education,’ Vice-rector Perovic said.
According to her, a foreigner also submits proof of the knowledge of language in which the studies are conducted, except in the case when he/she graduated from high school in one of the languages that are in official use in Montenegro.
Enrolment of students at the University of Montenegro is closely defined by the Rulebook on Detailed Terms, Criteria and Enrolment Procedure at undergraduate studies of the UoM (Bulletin UoM, br.432/18).
