Nikolic and Bjelica in the Regional Department of the UoM Faculties

Rector of the University of Montenegro, Danilo Nikolic, PhD and President of the Steering Committee of the UoM, PhD visited regional departments of the faculties of the University of Montenegro and encountered with the Mayor of Bijelo Polje Municipality, Petar Smolovic.

During the visit, the necessity for a potential opening of study programs in the field of technical and technological sciences, maintenance of electric and mechanical systems, as well as expanding offers of study programs implemented by the Biotechnical Institute in Bijelo Polje.

Considered possibilities, according to Rector Nikolic, aim to develop the north of Montenegro, in accordance with necessities of society and recognizing the quality of young staff living in this area of the country.

 ‘The north of Montenegro has significant development potential, and the largest resource is precisely young and talented people who are eager for knowledge, skills, professional qualifications, opportunities for further growth and improvement,’ he said.
