Fourteen Students of PhD Studies of the University of Montenegro Received Scholarships for PhD Research in 2019/20
Fourteen students of PhD studies of the University of Montenegro, out of total 17 PhD graduates at selection made the Ministry of Science, will receive scholarships for PhD research in 2019/20.
All 17 selected researchers will be supported with 750 000 Euros in total. Their applications, among 33 received, have been evaluated by international evaluators.
International or Sector mobility during PhD studies, will be an important segment, next to substantial funds for research in the amount of 10.000 Euros per year, monthly fee in the amount of 700 Euros, for the period of three years and free-of-charge scholarship.
PhD graduates of the University of Montenegro will do, among others, the research on impact of genetics in schizophrenia, potential of etheric oils of medical herbs from the area of Montenegro, noninvasive methods in assessment of risk for progress of coroner arteria illness, quality of electrical energy in electric distribution networks in conditions of increased usage of electrical automobiles, but also roles of women in Montenegrin society, by the end of 16th century through history, mythology and emotion.
Five students of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics from the University of Montenegro received scholarships as follows: Arso Ivanović, Neda Bošković, Maja Čabarkapa, Božidar Šoškić and Alma Kurtiš.
From the Faculty of Medicine UoM four students received scholarships: Milena Petrović, Miljana Anđelić, Mirko Lipovac, Batrić Vukčević and Tijana Vukadinović.
From the Faculty of Electrical Engineering UoM awarded is Ana Pavlićević, while at the Maritime Faculty Kotor UoM the scholarship is received by Ana Radulović.
Scholarships from the area of social and humanistic science are received by Filip Petrović from the Faculty of Economics and Ksenija Rakočević from the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Montenegro.
Remaining three candidates are students of the University of Donja Gorica.
