Expedition "Tatrom oko svijeta 2" Planted Cherry Tree in Campus of the University of Montenegro

Team of the expedition "Tatrom oko svijeta 2", that has the aim to go around the world in three years, visited today the University of Montenegro planting cherry tree in the campus.

This expedition evokes the memory of alike expedition in the history of Czechoslovakia that in 1987 with vehicle Tatra in two years went around the whole world visiting 67 countries and crossing 140.000 kilometers.

"Tatra oko svijeta 2" is created supported and blessed by the only live member of then expedition Dalibor Petar", as one of team members Petar Holeček says. For everything to be more authentic – military truck is intended for Iranian deserts- bought from grandson of a living member Dalibor Petar junior.

They started a new journey around the world on February 22nd with the aim to represent the Republic of Czechoslovakia in the world, bringing home information from all around the world.  

"Yes, we live in the internet era, and information is endless, but only handful of people know the life in the most distant areas of Siberia or the highest peaks of Pamir”. That “handful” of people is composed of adventurers Marek Havliček, Petr Holeček, Katarina Božkova, Lucija Vanoskova and Jiri Dvorski. 

The Tatra may be joined by other interested people who would become part of the team with delegated duties on a journey with vehicle specially equipped for this ambitious goal. As most people are not able to have a two year vacation journey is divided into fortnight phases.

The posivbilyt to meet and talk to expedition members was opened today in several sights in Podgorica while the EU Infor Center will organize mingle with expedition members with airing a short film about the very journey around the world.
